It is a bit tougher to learn as some players struggle to aim Tornado. Unlike many Sorceress builds, this Druid setup gives you access to different damage types easily, making Immunes less of a problem.

Wind Druid can be a little slow to start, but after those first few levels, things really start to come together. That late game gear requirement brings it down slightly, but it's still one of the best solo builds in the game. Like the Summonmancer, the Trapsin Assassin is an excellent option for new players as it's relatively easy to get started and not too expensive until the late game. Both of the more popular Sorceress builds are incredibly good for solo play, which isn't too surprising given their strengths. You can pretty much take exactly what we said with the Blizz Sorc and copy it here. The only real problem with most Sorceress builds is that they can be stonewalled in the late game by Elemental Immune monsters.

You'll also use Blizzard to do relatively safe damage. As a Sorceress, you have Teleport without needing to get top-of-the-line gear. That also means you won't need high-end gear to make this build sing.īlizzard Sorc is one of the favorite cookie-cutter builds in Diablo II: Resurrected. Plus, it's an incredibly safe build with you using summons to do most of your damage. The Summonmancer Necro isn't the best boss-killing build out there, but it is very new player friendly. Obviously, better gear is going to make you much more deadly however, as a solo build this one is probably the best one out there. Not only can they output incredible damage and move around quickly, but you don't need high-end gear to get started. Hammerdins are one of the most popular builds in Diablo II: Resurrected for a good reason. For more detailed information about each class, check out the Tier breakdowns below. Selecting a Class icon under the "Filter Results" option will isolate builds that the selected class can play. With those two points in mind, let's look at our Tier List. That doesn't mean playing as a Barbarian is impossible, it's just not going to go as quickly as other characters. Plus, you're further away from the action, making those characters much safer. Caster classes are stronger overall when you're on your own because you don't have to worry about your attacks hitting the target. On top of that, one of the main things to keep in mind is that, in general, melee characters are much worse for solo play. If you have friends or another character who can get you gear, other builds might be better. As will builds that require more high-end gear to really come "online". So, builds that function best in multiplayer will fall down the list. First, this list is assuming you're starting from scratch and playing completely by yourself. Before we get into the tier list though, we'd like to share a few notes. Some classes are much better at managing the demons from Hell than others, so if you want to know where to start, we can help you out. Diablo II: Resurrected is a hard game, especially as you make your way toward Hell difficulty.
